FAQ
What does DAÉIN mean, and how is it pronounced?
DAÉIN is pronounced deh · een and written 大人 — “great person.” The characters mean adult across East Asia, and in Korean also describe a person of large, composed character. It is the person we design for. Read more in Our Story.
When does the first collection launch?
Our first collection arrives for Fall/Winter 2026. Follow @daeinstudio on Instagram for the launch date and the making of the collection.
Where are DAÉIN garments made?
Our fabrics are sourced from Italian mills and our ready-to-wear is cut and sewn in Italy. Our knitwear is made in Portugal from yarns spun in Italy. See Craftsmanship.
What materials do you use?
We build our collections around natural fibres — wool, cashmere, silk, cotton and linen — chosen for comfort, longevity and their low impact at the end of a garment’s life. Every product page lists the full composition.
Is DAÉIN a sustainable brand?
We describe ourselves as sustainable luxury: natural and eco-friendly fibres, responsibly sourced yarns, small collections and craftsmanship over quantity. We only make claims we can stand behind — read our approach to sustainability.
Do you make clothing for men as well as women?
Yes. The Fall/Winter 2026 collection includes a women’s and a men’s version of the pinstripe blazer, the trousers and the camel coat, each cut on its own pattern. Sizes follow Italian sizing — 38–46 for women, 44–52 for men — and every product page shows the equivalent letter size.
Do your garments carry a logo?
No. We don’t sell logos. The cut, the cloth and the finish are the signature.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship from Canada. See Shipping for processing and delivery times, and Returns for how to send something back.
How can I contact DAÉIN?
